Cancer survivor Nafisa Ali recently revealed that she is currently stuck in Goa amid the Coronavirus outbreak. The actress also spoke about the difficulties she is currently facing due to the unfortunate Coronavirus outbreak and how she is deprived of basic ration and medicines, now, she received help from the Goa government.

Talking to ETimes, she said, “A group of about 15 government officials visited me. I expressed my concerns and told them that they need to sell the basics door to door, using vendors. I also made it clear that I was speaking on behalf of the local community, more than for myself.”

The 63-year-old took to her Twitter to thank the government and tweeted, “I am grateful to the Goa administration that came to check on me & discuss how to resolve issues regarding the fresh food chain to help the locals in Morjim. They will also try finding my medicine in Panjim . Requested that police be guided to not hit people out for to buy food .”

CMO Dr Pramod Sawant also shared a photo on Twitter and wrote, “Local Incident Commander has established contact with her and necessary help has been extended.”

Earlier, Nafisa Ali told Hindustan Times, The groceries shops are shut for the last six days. I’m a cancer survivor; I need to eat proper food. I’ve been eating just dry ration for the past many days — there are no vegetable, no fruits. We’re so cut off. I’m in Morjim and people here are having a terrible time. It’s only in Panjim that the situation is fine. My heart goes out to everyone.”
