Not Shraddha Kapoor But Nushrat Bharucha To Be Featured In Amala Paul’s Aadai’ ?

For a very long time Shraddha Kapoor has been making headlines for bagging a role in Amala Paul’s Hindi remake of ‘Aadai’. However, there were no confirmation from the actresses side about the same. Now, we hear that not Shraddha, but the makers are going ahead with Nushrat Bharucha in the remake version.

A recent report by Pinkvilla states that the makers have now zeroed down Nushrat Bharucha in the Hindi remake instead of Shraddha Kapoor. “They wanted someone who is bold and will be up to take the risk. It’s an A rated film with several bold scenes, including a completely nude scene. They had approached Shraddha Kapoor first but it didn’t work out. Now, they have offered the film to Nushrat Bharucha who has liked the script. But what needs to be seen is how the team plans to shoot and execute it since it’s a very tricky space to be in. They wanted a performer who can play the vivacious and the vulnerable with equal aplomb and Nushrat fit their bill. But she is yet to sign on the dotted line because the modalities are currently being discussed.”
 

The source informs the portal that the rights for the makers of Hindi version of ‘Aadai’ have the rights for the same and apparently feel that it will resonate well with the Indian audience. The Tamil film has not been watched by many of the Indians. Thus, the makers are planning to take the film on floors sometime next year.

For the unversed, Shraddha Kapoor is currently in the headlines after she gets summoned by the NCB in drug nexus case, which is linked with Sushant Singh Rajput case. She was last seen sharing the screen space with Tiger Shroff in ‘Bhaagi 3’, the actress is yet to make the announcement of her next.
