Dua Lipa is excited to perform in a live concert for the first time in India
International singer and songwriter Dua Lipa has confirmed to perform in a live concert in India. The rumours of Dua Lipa joining Katty Pery at the OnePlus Music Festival turned out true. Yes, both Dua Lipa and Katy Perry are all set to take the stage of OnePlus Music festival on fire. The event is scheduled to take place on 16th November 2019 at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

Notably, this would be Lipa’s first-ever live concert in India. Speaking about the same, ‘Be The One’ singer told news agency, “(I am) So excited to perform in India for the first time ever. I’m excited to get back on stage, (and) I feel like it’s going to be such a fun night.”
It is to be noted that OnePlus Music Festival would take in the same stadium where Canadian singer Justin Bieber performed a few months back.
Speaking about the OnePlus music festival, Carl Pei, co-founder, OnePlus said, “We are super excited that Dua Lipa will also be performing in the first-ever OnePlus Music Festival in India! The addition of Dua completes the International Festival music offering. We will be announcing additional music from India soon. This festival will truly be one of a kind experience for our Indian community.”
Talking about Dua Lipa, she made her singing debut with Warner Music Group in 2015. Her first single was ‘New Love’ but she rose to fame with her second song “Be The One” which released in the same year.
In the year 2018, Lipa got to number one on the UK charts with yet another single “One Kiss”. This performance garnered her the recognition of being the first female solo artist to reach the numero-uno position in the UK since 2015.
OnePlus Music Festival event tickets
The tickets for Dua Lipa and Katy Perry event will go on sale at 12 pm on September 17. According to reports, Tickets are priced at Rs 2,000 onwards, with OnePlus users being extended the facility of a 10 per cent cashback through Insider or Paytm transaction.
