Patralekhaa to act as surrogate mother in ‘Badnaam Gali’

The actress was in Delhi shooting for her ZEE 5’s web film ‘Badnaam Gali’. She is playing the role of a surrogate mother. seems like a very exciting role for the actress. The actress also says that she felt very much attached.
In an interview with the DNA, the actress was if the film is all about breaking taboos regarding surrogacy to which the actress replied as “Yes, it is telling you to break the taboos and to be non-judgemental, but it is told in a light-hearted manner. It’s a comedy, but I felt the makers are trying to deal with some real issues. That’s what attracted me to it when the writer narrated the script to me.”
The actress says that while she was acting, she was making a lot of efforts to walk like a pregnant woman but made mistakes. But one day she realized that she was walking slightly tilted to the front while she was without the pregnancy strap. About that she laughs and says “I always thought acting is internal but for the first time, it felt like it went from external to internal. After that incident, there was a kind of shift. I felt more attached to my stomach!”
Patralekhaa had debuted with her longtime boyfriend Rajkummar Rao is all set to come onscreen this Mother’s Day weekend on the 10th of May. The film is an original by Zee 5 and stars Patralekhaa and Divyendu Sharma.
