Pehlwaan which is also spelt as Pailwaan — one of the most anticipated Kannada movies of 2019 — has become the latest victim of online piracy. The film is written and directed by S. Krishna and produced by Swapna Krishna under the banner RRR Motion Pictures and bankrolled by Zee Studios. The film Pehlwaan marks Sunil Shetty’s debut in Kannada cinema. The soundtracks of the film were composed by Arjun Janya.

Kiccha Sudeep and Aakanksha Singh starrer Pehlwaan (Pailwaan) has received mixed reviews from both audience and critics alike. In the film, Sudeep plays the role of Desi wrestler, who wants to become an international boxer.

The film was earlier supposed to release in nine languages, but later it settled for five languages due to Hindi language theatrical release.
