Is Prabhas unhappy with Deepika Padukone for THIS reason?

South star Prabhas has a huge fan following all over the world ever since the release of Baahubali. After the super success of his action flick Saaho the actor was all geared up to work with Nag Ashwin for his next. Rumours abounded that Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been approached to play the lead actress. We now hear that the Baahubali star Prabhas is quite miffed with Deepika Padukone.

Prabhas who is busy with Radha Krishna Kumar’s film, was all set to start the shoot of his next upcoming flick tentatively titled Prabhas 21. The movie is being directed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame and will be bankrolled by Aswini Dutt. The makers were planning to bring Bajirao Mastani fame Deepika Padukone in Prabhas starrer. But rumour has it that Deepika Padukone demanded Rs 20-25 Cr for this Pan Indian film. Miffed with Deepika’s high demand Prabhas and the makers have now decided to cast another actress.

Prabhas 21 was all set to go on floor by the end of 2020. But due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic, it has been postponed. The makers will now start work on the much-awaited film in 2021.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be seen in sport based drama ’83’, where she is essaying the role of Kapil Dev’ wife. The Kabir Khan directorial features Ranveer Singh as legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. The release of the sports drama that is based on 1983’s World Cup trophy that India won against West Indies has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
