PHOTOS: Prakash Raj Gets Married Again to Wife Pony Verma On Anniversary, Here’s Why

On August 24th, Prakash Raj celebrated 11 years of togetherness with his wife Pony Verma. To mark this special occasion, the couple got married again and the reason is his son, Vedhanth.

Taking to Twitter, Prakash Raj wrote that he married his wife Pony Verma again. Sharing the pictures, he wrote: “We got married again tonight..because our son #vedhant wanted to witness it 😍😍😍. Family moments #bliss”

Along with Vedhant, Prakash Raj’s daughters, Meghana and Pooja, were also present during the ceremony. His daughters are from his first marriage to Lalitha Kumari.

Earlier, Prakash Raj shared a throwback photo of him with his wife from their wedding and penned a sweet caption that read as: ““It turned out so right.. for strangers in the night” .. thank you my darling wife .. for being a wonderful friend.. a lover and a great co traveller in our life together..🤗🤗🤗 #happyweddinganniversary @PonyPrakashraj”

Prakash Raj found love in choreographer Pony at 45. They tied the knot in 2010 in presence of their close friends and family members. Raj married actress Lalitha Kumari in 1994. They had two daughters, Meghana and Pooja, and a son, Sidhu who died in 2004. The couple divorced in 2009.

Currently, the actor is shooting for Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus, ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ in Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, Prakash will be soon seen in the Kannada film ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’ written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films.
