Rajendra Lekhraj: If We Hit A Rough Patch, We’ll Reach Out To Salman Khan

The coronavirus has hit the entertainment industry too as many filmmakers and television producers are all set to suspend work from March 19. At a time when the entire nation is fighting the outbreak, the worst-hit in the industry is the production crews. The daily wage workers are the ones who are suffering, economically. Many from the industry, are in conversation to set up a relief fund for daily wage workers who are impacted by the shutdown.

Rajendra Lekhraj coordinator of junior artists in Bollywood said that he is glad that the filmmakers are teaming up to lend financial assistance to daily wage workers. As if the spread is not contained by march 31 it will be a difficult situation for junior artists.

He further added that “If we hit a rough patch, I will talk to Salman Khan, who is so gracious in offering support and is always concerned about us. The Bharat star had recently stalled the shoot of Radhe in Mehboob Studios because of the unfortunate turn of events.”

This is not the first time that Salman Khan will be going the extra mile. His foundation, ‘Being Human’ has always been the medium to providing funding to treat children with various illnesses and brought relief to many. The real stories of generosity like these are the exact reasons why he is loved by one and all.

On the work front, Salman Khan is busy with the shoot of ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.’ The action drama is being directed by Prabhudheva also features Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles. It will be releasing on Eid.
