Rakul Preet Singh tests positive for COVID-19; Says, she is ‘feeling fine’
Rakul Preet Singh took to her social media handle to inform her fans that she has tested positive for COVID-19.
Rakul Preet Singh becomes the latest Bollywood celebrity to test positive for the novel Coronavirus. On Tuesday, the ‘De De Pyaar De’ actress announced that she has contracted the virus and shared an update on her health on social media. She also revealed that she is ‘feeling fine.’

The actress released an official statement on her social media handle and wrote, “I’d like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested. Thankyou and Please stay safe.”

The ‘Yaariyan’ actress recently began the shooting for her upcoming film, ‘May Day’ which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn, she shared a picture of herself from the film sets on her Instagram story. The film will see her in the role of a pilot.
Devgn who is helming the film, tweeted, “Happy to officially begin MayDay.. in a start-to-finish shooting schedule. Seek blessings from the Almighty and my parents. Nothing is complete without the support of all my fans, family and well-wishers. Releases on 29th April 2022.” Rakul will also be seen in Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Indian 2,’ directed by Shankar, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal.
