Ram Setu: Akshay Kumar Unveils First Look on Diwali

Akshay Kumar is on a roll with some lucrative projects in his kitty. The Khiladi was recent;y seen in supernatural drama Laxmmi that released on Disney+Hotstar. Today on the occasion of Diwali he has announced a new project titled Ram Setu.

On 14 November, Akshay Kumar took to social media to share the first look of his new film Ram Setu. He wrote, “This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead, here is our humble attempt – RAM SETU ! Wishing you & yours a very Happy Deepawali!”

The poster says, “Myth or Reality?” Akshay is seen dressed as a common man in the poster. Dressed in a pant and shirt he is seen sporting long hair and has a scarf around his neck. There is a picture of Lord Rama in the background.

‘Ram Setu’ will be directed by Abhishek Sharma. The movie will be produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra.

On the work front, Akshay will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi co-starring Katrina Kaif. He also has Bell Bottom alongside Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi.
