Ranveer Singh starts shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus; shares photos

Ranveer Singh has begun the shooting for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus.’ his third collaboration with the director. The movie is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play The Comedy Of Errors. It also features Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, and others. Now, the ‘Gully Boy’ actor has shared pictures from the sets of the film.

Sharing the pictures from the sets, the ‘Befikre’ actor captioned it as: “🎪 🎞 🎥 🎭”

In the photos, Ranveer is seen sitting inside a theatre as he looks into the distance, he is dressed in a t-shirt along with a chain and sporting a mustache.

The movie also features Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma. ‘Cirkus’  will also be shot in Goa and Ooty. Presented by Bhushan Kumar and Reliance Entertainment. The film is set to release in the winter of 2021.

Earlier, it was rumored to be a remake of Sanjeev Kumar, Moushumi Chatterjee, and Deven Varma’s 1982 comedy classic Angoor. However, the director denied the rumors.

Rohit Shetty is awaiting the release of Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’, but it was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Ranveer will also make a special appearance in the film. The actor will also be seen next in Kabir Khan’s directorial sports drama ’83’. The movie is based on India’s spectacular World Cup win.
