Prime accused in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotic Control Bureau after she reportedly confessed about procuring drugs alongside her brother, Showik. The actress was recently granted with the bail, alongside Samuel Miranda, while Showik’s bail plea was rejected by the Bombay High Court. Now, we hear that the actresses lawyer, Satish Maneshinde confirms taking legal action againts people and the portals who had spread misleading information.
Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde confirmed that she will be taking action against all those people who made false claims against her in order to gain publicity, while she was in the jail. As per a report by Mumbai Mirror, Maneshinde said, “We will be forwarding a list of people to the CBI who made fake and false claims on TV and electronic media, including carrying mobile recording and fake stories on the SSR case with particular reference to Rhea Chakraborty to go after them and record their statements. We will request the CBI to take legal proceedings against them for misleading the investigations.”
The lawyer further added that they will be going after everyone who have tried to destroy her reputation for their two-minute fame and TRP ratings.
For the unversed, the NCB officials had reportedly seized Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and few other people’s mobile phones. The phones have been reportedly sent to the forensic department for acquiring more evidence. The Narcotic Control Bureau is apparently looking forward to summon more big names from the industry in drug nexus probe. On the other side, CBI is also investigating the death case.
