Hollywood superstar Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva are expecting their second child. The couple are parents to a son named Alexander. The 70-year-old actor and his 36-year-old Spanish wife Alejandra Silva had welcomed their son in February this year. They are all set to welcome their second baby nine months after the birth of their firstborn.

As per a report in HOLA, Silva is around three months pregnant and her due date is expected to be sometime in May next year. The couple has yet to confirm the news publicly.
According to a report in People, Gere and Silva first began dating in 2014 and have known each other for over ten years. The much in love couple tied the knot in a very private ceremony last year. Alejandra Silva is a publicist by profession.
Speaking to Hello magazine Gere had said, “I am the happiest man in the universe, how could I not be? I am married to a beautiful woman who is smart, sensitive, committed to helping people, fun, patient, who knows how to forgive, a great cook who makes the best salads in the world. Alejandra meditates, is a vegetarian, a great mother, has the touch of an angel… and is also Spanish! The land of kings and queens, of Cervantes and Buñuel … Insuperable!”
The couple already have kids from their previous marriage. Gere who was earlier married to Carey Lowell, shares a 19-year-old son Homer with her. The couple parted ways after 11 years of marriage. Whereas, Alejandra is also mom to a 6-year-old little boy Albert from her previous marriage.
