RRR: Alia Bhatt’s Shoot Schedule For SS Rajamouli Directorial Is Again Delayed?

‘Baahubali’ director, SS Rajamouli’s upcoming extravaganza, ‘RRR’ is hailed as one of the most anticipated project down south. The film features Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in the key roles. According to the latest reports, the actresses shoot schedule has been delayed further considering her busy schedule.

A source close to the development, while talking about the film informed Bollywood Hungama that, “Very clearly Bhansali wants to wrap up the shooting as soon as possible. He has extended the current schedule by two weeks, so that most of the shooting for Gangubai would be over. After this schedule there’s one more schedule, and then the film will be complete.”

For the unversed, earlier there were reports that Alia Bhatt had stepped out of the ‘RRR’, due to clash of her shooting schedules. However, there were no official confirmation about the same. Amidst the buzz about makers of ‘RRR’ planning to replace Alia, she apparently began shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ in Mumbai. Reportedly, she had been shooting in the wee hours, as per the demand of the plot of the movie.

If the reports of ‘RRR’ makers extending 2-week shoot schedule are true, then Alia would have to quickly begin shooting for SS Rajamouli’s film as soon as she completes her shooting for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. She was last seen sharing the screen space with Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in ‘Sadak 2’.
