Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman Putting Their ‘Feud’ Aside For COVID-19 Relief
“We’ll stop our feud for one day and help sell a different type of drink,” Jackman said
Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have put their ‘feud’ aside to support COVID-19 relief efforts. In a new Instagram video, the two stars have promised to put their quarrel aside for one day to support the All In Challenge.
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman shared that those who donated to the campaign could win a chance to have the two stars fly to their home for two hours and help their children sell lemonade.
“We’ll stop our feud for one day and help sell a different type of drink,” Jackman said. “Lemonade. At your child’s lemonade stand,” Reynolds added.
However, the bickering stars could not conclude the video without a few parting shots. While Hugh took potshots at Reynolds’ Aviation American gin brand by saying gin is for the weak, the Deadpool star was ready with a comeback. He stated that coffee is for sleepy people. This was a shot at Jackman’s Laughing Man Coffee Company.
In the end, the two stars put their differences. Ryan Reynolds said, “For one day and one day only, we’ve agreed to agree to not disagree. And only a pandemic could make that happen.”
“That’s right, all to help fight food insecurity,” the X-Men star said and Reynolds added, “because no one deserves to go hungry.”
Hugh Jackman nominated American football quarterback Drew Brees, and actor couple Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann. Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds called upon Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield and soccer superstar Ashley Lawrence to take the challenge forward.
