The trailer is all about the face-off between Sai Dharam an IAS officer and Ramya Krishnan a politician. The social drama focuses on the three pillars of democracy – legislative, executive and judiciary. Sai Dharam is an officer whose aim is to be of service to the people. The same attitude lands him in trouble with a powerful politician.

Republic also features Aishwarya Rajesh, Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna in pivotal roles. Republic hits the screens all over on October 1st.

Meanwhile, actor Sai Dharam Tej is recovering from a collar bone fracture and other injuries. The actor was severly injured when his bike skidded in mud. He was soon shifted to a Hospital in Hyderabad. At present, the actor is recovering well after surgery.
