No fight? Salman Khan is among the first guest at NickYanka reception

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are hosting their third reception today for the film fraternity at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. Salman Khan’s appearance at Nickyanka’s wedding reception has left thousands of people speechless as they were assuming that he was really upset when Priyanka Chopra walked out of his upcoming film Bharat. 

As per reports, Priyanka Chopra was supposed to play the lead role in Bharat but she walked out citing her marriage with Nick Jonas. There were rumours that Salman Khan got miffed over Chopra’s decision but on the occasion of her wedding reception, Salman Khan rubbished all the rumours.

Following Chopra’s exit, Katrina Kaif was roped in Bharat for the lead role. Furthermore, Salman and Priyanka have had a history of sharing cold vibes before.

Salman had spoken at length about Priyanka’s exit at the trailer launch of Loveratri in Delhi. The Dabang Khan had said that he was really “happy” for her. Of course, he was a little snarky with his wishes.

“Uss waqt hum ko ye pata chalta ke unhone wahan par koi bahut badi film sign ki hai aur hume thoda pehle pata chalta to hum waise bhi usko kabhi rokte nahi (If we had known then that she has signed a big Hollywood film, we wouldn’t have stopped her from leaving the film). End moment pe pata chala, shooting ke 10 din pehle pata chala.

Apart from Salman Khan, the Nickyanka reception is attended by Deepika and Ranveer, Hema Malini and AR Rahman, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.

Notably, on December 19, Priyanka and Nick hosted a reception for their close family and friends at JW Marriott Hotel. Priyanka took to her Instagram account to share a loved-up picture from the celebrations, and it is adorable. “And the party don’t stop…” she captioned it.
