Sharman Joshi’s Father Arvind Joshi Passes Away

Sharman Joshi’s father, Arvind Joshi passed away today i.e. Jan 29. He was hospitalised at Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital and he breathed his last during 3.00am in the morning. He was 84-years-old and he was apparently struggling through the age related health complications. Arvind was a popular Gujarati theater actor and known for having great contribution in the field.

Sharman Joshi’s father acted in several Gujarati films, which went to perform well at the ticket counters. He was a  Gujarati theatre artist as well as well versed with direction skills. He had also portrayed few notable but small roles in Bollywood films such as ‘Ittefaq’, ‘Sholay’, ‘Apmaan Ki Aag’, ‘Kharidar’, ‘Thikana’, ‘Naam’ and many others. Upon learning the news of his sudden demise Bollywood celebs took to their Twitter handles and offered the condolences. Celebs posted heart touching posts remembering Arvind Joshi.

Arvind Joshi’s last rites will be performed as per Hindu rituals at Vile Parle between 11-12 am today.
