SSR Case: Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik taken into custody by NCB for interrogation

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager Samuel Miranda, the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty has also been taken into custody by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai in releated to SSR’s case for drugs related probe

Earlier, this morning, a team of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted raid at the house of Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik, later, according to rule under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, said NCB, according to ANI.

“Maharashtra: Brother of #RheaChakrobarty, Showik brought to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office in Mumbai. The Bureau had summoned Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda to join the investigation in connection with #SushantSinghRajput death case,” reported ANI.

Currently, the NCB is focusing on the ‘criminal conspiracy’ angle in the case. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Abdul Basit Parihar, Zaid Vilatra, Basit Parihar, Abbas Lakhani and Karan Arora, in related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s case.   According to the NCB investigations, Samuel had collected drugs for Rhea and Showik in March 2020.

As per PTI, NCB said, “it is “investigating the drug angle in the case of Rajput’s death and therefore, it is highly substantive and needs to be investigated thoroughly so as to uproot the drug citadel in Mumbai, and especially Bollywood ”. Reportedly, Zaid was also taken into custody for 7 days by the NCB.
