Satyanarayan Ki Katha: Shraddha Kapoor to romance with Kartik Aaryan?
Reportedly, Shraddha Kapoor is all set to play the female lead in Kartik Aaryan's 'Satyanarayan ki Katha.'
On Wednesday, Kartik Aaryan announced his new film, ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’ which is slated for release in 2022. The musical love story will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sameer Vidwans who is known for Marathi films. Now, reportedly Shraddha Kapoor is all set to play the female lead in the film.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, “Sajid Nadiadwala has already bounced the idea to his in-house favourite Shraddha Kapoor and she has absolutely loved it. In fact, she has also agreed to be a part of the film. But it’s all verbal at this point and a contractual agreement is currently not in place. Shraddha seems like a perfect choice because the new pairing will also add freshness to the script. Kartik and Shraddha will look extremely good together and although it’s Kartik’s story majorly, Shraddha has a very important part to play in it as well.”
‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’ will be Shraddha and Kartik’s first film together. Earlier, Dinesh Vijan had approached the two stars for a film. They were also rumoured to be doing ‘Kirik Party’ together, but it did not work out.
However, an official confirmation is yet to be made.
On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in Ahmed Khan’s ‘Baaghi 3’ co-star Tiger Shroff. The film was released in March last year. The film also starred Riteish Deshmukh and Ankita Lokhande. She will next feature in Luv Ranjan’s untitled film. Whereas, Aaryan will next be seen in a remake of comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ and thriller titled, ‘Dhamaka’ that is releasing directly on Netflix.
