Mere Chanda, Mein Tumhara, Sitara Raha. – @amitabhbhattacharyaofficial 🖊 🎵: @arrahman @hridaygattani @jonitamusic @castingchhabra Can’t believe we’re just one week away from our labour of love reaching you & hopefully entering your hearts. Sharing this really special memory of the both us, with you all. This was about one week into shooting Dil Bechara, in 2018. Just a moment of us being really satisfied with what we were creating. It all tastes bittersweet. Everything. No idea what to feel. Or how to feel. Numbness eludes. Wish you were here. #SushantSinghRajput #ThinkingOfYou
Sushant shared a warm relationship with Mukesh Chhabra, “He had launched him and Sushant had promised Mukesh that he will do his first film. Dil Bechara, earlier titled Kizzie Aur Manny, took an extra year because of funding and a few internal changes that happened.”
“So when Sushant agreed to do the film, he saw the challenges the team was facing and agreed to do it for half his fee. He also had a long-standing relationship with Fox Star Studios and was in touch with the banner for a few more films. He did it just because he felt it was the most correct thing to do,” said the source.
‘Dil Bechara’ is the Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie, ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ and also starred Sahil Anand, Swastika Mukherjee and Saswata Chatterjee in pivotal roles.
