The couple after dating each other for a while, tied the knot in the year 1999 and they are now blessed with two kids, Yug and Nysa. In one of the social media video, the actress’ sister reveals how she had confessed about being in love with Ajay Devgn.

The couple had appeared on Raveen Tandon’s chat show, ‘It’s My Life’ with Tanuja and Kajol’s sister, Tanishaa. During the episode the host of the show had asked Kajol’s family about how Kajol and Ajay’s love story blossomed.
To which mom, Tanuja quickly recalled the moment when Kajol told her that she was in love. “She comes to me, and says ‘mom I’m in love’,” Tanuja said. “I say ‘OK who is it?’”. She replied, “You should see his eyes mom.” When Tanuja prodded her daughter, Kajol said, “His name is Ajay,” and upon further prodding said, “Ajay Devgn.” Tanuja was taken aback, because she knew Ajay’s father, the action director Viru Devgan, but thought that Ajay was “as charismatic (as his father) if not more.”

On the work fronts, Kajol and Ahay Devgn were last seen sharing the screen space in period drama, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’. The film also starred Saif Ali Khan and it was received well by the audience at the box-office.
