The makers of Thalapthy 64 are considering to take Rashmika Mandanna on board, who is celebrating her recent release ‘Dear Comrade’ success.

Kiara Advani was last seen in Kabir Singh, which was a remake of Telugu superhit film Arjun Reddy. She made her acting debut with Kabir Sadanand’s comedy film ‘Fugly’ (2014), a critical and commercial failure, and then starred in the biographical sports drama ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ (2016), which proved to be her first commercial success.

In 2018, Kiara appeared in the Netflix anthology film ‘Lust Stories’ and Kiara already made her debut in Telugu with Mahesh Babu’s ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’. She was also part of Ram Charan’s ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’. Her highest-grossing release came with the romantic drama ‘Kabir Singh’ which ranks as the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2019.

There have been reports that the script of the movie impressed Kiara, so much so, that she is ready to adjust her hectic schedule as she is currently occupied with many Hindi projects.

Meanwhile, Vijay Thalapathy was last seen in AR Murugadoss’ Sarkar with Keerthy Suresh. Prior to that, he has also been featured opposite Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha Akkineni on the silver screen.

The film is all set to go on floors in April 2020.
