‘The Family Man’ fame Priyamani & Mustafa Raj’s marriage is illegal, claims his first wife

‘The Family Man’ actress Priyamani tied the knot to Mustafa Raj, an event organizer, in a private ceremony on 23 August 2017. This is Raj’s second marriage. Now, his wife Ayesha has called their marriage illegal and said that they have not yet separated legally.

Speaking to The Times Of India, Ayesha said she is still married to Mustafa and they have not filed for divorce. She added that while marrying Priyamani, in court, he claimed that he was a bachelor. Mustafa and Ayesha have two kids and Ayesha has also filed a case of Domestic Violence against Raj.

Ayesha added: “As a mother of two children, what can you do? One tries to sort it out amicably but only when it doesn’t work out, some steps need to be taken because you don’t want to lose out on time which he has been using against me now.”

Mustafa reacted to these claims and said that the charges against him are false and he regularly pays his children’s maintenance. “She is simply trying to extort money from me,” he said.

Further, Mustafa stated that he and Ayesha have been living separately since 2010 and got divorced in 2013. He also questioned Ayesha on why she did not speak up about it all these years.

Priyamani is yet to respond to these claims.

On the work front, Priyamani will be seen next in Zee 5’s ‘His Storyy,’ Narappa co-starring Venkatesh and Virataparvam alongside Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi. She will also be seen in Ajay Devgn’s sports drama, ‘Maidaan.’
