The White Tiger Makers Recommend Priyanka Chopra’s Name For The Awards Season

Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao have shared the screen space for the first time in The White Tiger. The duo is currently awaiting for the release of this much anticipated film. The actress has kick started promoting this film. The makers on the other side have apparently recommended PeeCee’s name for the upcoming awards season for the Best Supporting Actress category.

Priyanka Chopra who is excited for the release of the film has been sharing glimpse from her promotional sessions and zoom meetings. She also shared the update with her fans about the makers recommending her name for the awards season. She shared a boomerang video, which reads ‘For Your Consideration’ leaflet, which was to recommend the academies and award associations to keep in consider The White Tiger and its star cast for the upcoming awards season. For the unversed, Chopra had made her Bollywood debut in a supporting role. The film was a spy thriller The Hero. She had even won few awards for this role. She had made her acting debut with a Tamil film.

The actress also shared a beaming picture of herself, wherein she flaunts her no filter look.

Talking about the film, The White Tiger is set in the backdrop of class discrimination. The film’s plot takes us to the story of Balram Halwai’s life as a self-made entrepreneur. A rickshaw driver’s son who skillfully climbs India’s social ladder to become a chauffeur and later a successful businessman.Jun 17, 2015. Rajkummar Rao, Priyanka Chopra and Adarsh Gaurav will be seen in pivotal roles. The film is being helmed by Bahrani.
