UK Based Indian Couple Wins Lamborghini Worth Rs 3.1 Crore

A Kerala couple based in Nottingham in the United Kingdom was in for the biggest surprise of their life. They have won a Lamborghini Worth Rs 3.1 Crore along with a cash prize of Rs 20 Lakh. Shibu Paul and his wife who works as a nurse at Nottingham City Hospital are blown over by the win. =

As reported by new Indian Express, Shibu Paul and Linnet Joseph won a competition organized by ‘Best of the Best’. On 7th July 2020, there was a knock at their door. The elated couple couldn’t believe their eyes after seeing the red colour luxury on wheels parked outside their house, courtesy BOTB (Best Of The Best). The BOTB team asked them to open the boot of the car. Inside was a cash prize worth £20,000 and a bottle of Champagne.

Speaking to the daily during a telephonic interview, Sibhu said, “My wife was taking a nap after her night shift, and when the doorbell rang, we were greeted with a brand new Lamborghini worth £195,000 and prize money of £20,000. We are so grateful to god, as we were worried about my job prospects”.

Shibu had moved to the UK a year ago after marrying Linnet Joseph. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, he was unable to secure a job. He was looking out for some work and had also emailed many companies searching for a vacancy. But this win has turned the tables for them. Their luck seems to have changed for the better.

The couple, who is a native of Velloor near Piravom in Kottayam district, plan to buy a house in Nottingham.
