Venkatesh starrer Drishyam 2 Telugu Remake Launched, View Pics

Director Jeethu Joseph, of the Malayalam movie ‘Drishyam 2‘fame is all set to make the film in Telugu now. He has teamed up with Telugu superstar Venkatesh to make the Tollywood remake. The makers have launched the Venkatesh starrer Drsihyam 2 in Telugu with a pooja ceremony.

The launch of Drishyam 2 in Telugu began with the customary pooja ceremony. It was attended with just the cast and crew due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jeethu Joseph took to social media to share a picture from the pooja ceremony. He also revealed that the film is all set to go on floors on March 5. Jeethu wrote, “Telugu Drishyam 2 starts rolling on March 5th in Hyderabad (sic).”

The makers will be revealing the details of Drishyam’s cast and crew soon.

Venkatesh had even featured in the first part of Drishyam’s Telugu remake that had released in 2014. The movie had gone to break many records at the box office.

Malayalam film Drishyam 2 featuring Superstar Mohanlal in the lead role released on the OTT platform on February 19. The sequel is all about Mohanlal as Georgekutty trying to save his family from murder conviction once again. It went on to garner accolades from fans and critics alike. The sequel also features Meena, Esther Anil, Murali Gopy, Ansiba Hassan, Asha Sarath and Siddique.
