Hero: The makers of Vijay Deverakonda starrer are spending Rs 8 crore for a bike race sequence?

Vijay Deverakonda is one of the popular actors down the South. He has given many hits but his movie Arjun Reddy earned him a lot of appreciations for his stellar performance. The Tollywood star is all set to appear in Hero opposite Beyond The Clouds actress Malavika Mohanan and the shoot is going to start from today. Vijay will play a professional biker in the movie and the latest news suggests that the makers are spending Rs 8 crore for a stylish bike race sequence. Well, that sounds interesting, isn’t it?

The movie went on floors a couple of days back with a pooja ceremony. The makers tweeted by posting pictures from the event and thanking Mirchi director Koratala Siva and Gottipati Ravi for attending the pooja. Vijay and Malavika were also present at the event.

The movie marks the debut of Anand Annamalai as a director. Hero will release in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. Apart from Vijay Deverakonda and Malavika Mohanan, the movie also stars Diganth Machale, Vennela Kishore, Saran Shakthi, Raja Krishnamoorthy and John Edathattil among others.
