Bala: Yami Gautam starts shooting for her upcoming next

Yami Gautam and Ayushmann Khurrana are coming together for Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming film Bala. Both were seen in Vicky Donor in 2012. The movie went on floors a few days back and now Yami has joined the team. She has started shooting for the movie.

The shoot location of the film is well kept guarded to avoid any leaks from the sets. Yami will be seen in the role of a supermodel from Lucknow. The story of the movie revolves around a young man (played by Ayushmann) who is suffering from premature balding. It has been helmed by Stree fame director Amar Kaushik. The movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar as one of the female lead actors. Also, actors like Saurabh Shukla, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Seema Pahwa will be seen in pivotal roles and it will be mostly shot in Mumbai and Kanpur.

Yami has proved her mettle in acting in her last film Uri: The Surgical Strike and she is excited to be roped in for Bala. On being part of the movie, she earlier said, “Bala was a script that I instantly connected with. The team working on the film is immensely talented and especially after Uri for me, it’s another great project to be a part of. 2019 has been immensely rewarding with the super success of Uri and while it’s still playing in parts of the country, it’s great to be going on floors with another interesting story.”
