Yash Raj Films Issues Clarification On Reports About A Film Being Made On Yash Chopra’s Life  

For a very long time there were speculations that the YRF is considering to make a film in Yash Chopra’s life. There were quite a lot speculations about Shah Rukh Khan being casted in this most ambitious film of the production house. However, YRF now has issued a clarification and reveals that there no such film being made currently.

YRF’s spokesperson has apparently called the reports to be ‘baseless rumors’ and reportedly stated that currently they don’t have any plans of making a biopic film on Yash Chopra. “There has been a lot of speculation about Aditya Chopra planning to make a biopic on his late father, the legendary Yash Chopra. We can officially tell you that this news is absolutely untrue and a figment of the imagination. We hope this official confirmation puts this baseless rumour to rest,” read the statement.

Earlier this week Yash Raj Films celebrated its 50 years of making movies. In a special note for achieving such milestone, chairman, Aditya Chopra credited the welcoming nature of the Indian film industry for their success and remembered his late father, Yash Chopra.
