2019 Teen Choice Awards: Zayn Malik and Zhavia win big for Whole New World song, thanks fans on social media
Zayn Malik and Zhavia won big at the Teen Choice Award 2019 at Hermosa Beach, CA. The talented duo who had collaborated for Aladdin’s classic romantic ballad A Whole New World. Zhavia, along with Zayn Malik, picked up the surfboard for Choice Song From A Movie for their rendition of “A Whole New World” from Aladdin.
Zayn and Zhavia were up against Kelly Clarkson (Broken & Beautiful from UglyDolls), Kygo & Rita Ora (Carry On from Pokémon Detective Pikachu), Andy Grammer (Don’t Give Up on Me from Five Feet Apart), Bradley Cooper & Lady Gaga (Shallow from A Star Is Born) and Post Malone & Swae Lee (Sunflower from Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse).
Zayn who was last seen walking the purple carpet of Aladdin‘s premiere took to his social media handle to thank his fans.

The star-studded event featured performances by OneRepublic; Blanco Brown; Mabel; Monsta X; CNCO; Jordan McGraw, with special guest Sarah Hyland; Johnny Orlando; Jacob Sartorius; Zhavia; and Hayden Summerall.
On the work front, Zayn released his sophomore album Icarus Falls last year in December, which featured songs like There You Are, Entertainer, Let Me, No Candle No Light, etc.
The singer was also in an on-again, off-again relationship with supermodel Gigi Hadid, but the couple broke up in 2018. The singer has recently listed his penthouse apartment in New York City’s SoHo neighbourhood for $10.8 million. He had bought this home on Valentine’s Day 2018 when his relationship with Gigi was still going strong.
