Bihar: One student dies, 20 injured after bus collides with truck

At least one schoolchild died and 20 others were injured after a school bus collided with a truck in Bihar’s Aurangabad district last night. The bus was returning from an educational trip to Rajgir when the incident took place.

The collision took place in Barun area of the Aurangabad district. A senior official said the seriously injured children have been referred to Jamui while others have been given first aid and are under observation by a team of doctors.

“One child has died. Those who were admitted here have been given first aid & the ones who were critical have been referred to Jamui. A team of doctors is looking after all of them,” Aurangabad SDM Aurangabad Pradeep Kumar told ANI. .
