Abhishek Bachchan tests negative; ecstatic Amitabh Bachchan welcomes 'Bhaiyu' home
Abhishek Bachchan has finally tested Covid-19 negative. He was discharged from Nanavati hospital yesterday (August 8). The news was shared by the actor on his Instagram handle.He wrote, “I TOLD YOU!!! Discharge plan: YES!!This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE.Thank You all for your prayers and wishes. I’m so happy to be able to go home.#believe My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati Hospital for taking such good care of me and my family and helping us beat Covid-19. We couldn’t have done it without them. 🙏🏽

Big B also shared the good news of his son testing negative for COVID-19. He tweeted, “T 3620 – Abhishek tests negative for CoviD .. discharged from Hospital .. on his way home .. GOD IS GREAT …. thank you Ef and well wishers for your PRAYERS ..”

Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan were admitted to Nanavati hospital on July 11 after testing positive for COVID-19. A few days later Big B recovered and was discharged. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya who were also COVID+ve were discharged after their tests came negative. Finally, with Abhishek too testing negative the whole family is back together.
