A glimpse of Mahendra Singh Dhoni was exhilarating and exciting to begin with. Shehzad played a helicopter shot that got him his first boundary. It is always fun when Mohammad Shehzad is on the pitch. He entertained the throng with his moves after taking a catch. A naughty glimpse to the batsman was seen after collecting ball on the leg side as if he was saying “Boy don’t even dare to run”. He adds a lot of value to the side with his brute hitting and skillful keeping.

Afghanistan has stamped their authority on world stage. They have some highly talented and exciting players in their ranks. People speak about Rashid, Mujeeb, Nabi being their trump cards. But they have a lot more in store. Samiullah Shenwari, Usman Ghani and Shafiqullah Shafiq played some praiseworthy knocks for their sides. The fearless brand of cricket that Afghanistan demonstrate is commendable.

Cricket world has just seen emergence of the Afghan giants but they appear to be well versed with the stage from quite sometime now. Bangladesh seemed to have more match pressure than Afghanistan. 24 runs in the last over got them to a strong total of 168. Mujeeb struck with immediate effect getting rid of Tamim Iqbal who was a part of the ICC World XI. He managed to get wickets in regular intervals and the ferocious Rashid Khan sealed the match for them.

It is a must win situation for Bangladesh in the 2nd T20. Many cricket fanatics have already started guessing Afghanistan to be better than Bangladesh in all fronts. It’s about time that the experienced Bangla Tigers prove their mettle and fight back in the coming match.
