On Sunday evening, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrated her mother Vrinda Rai’s 70th birthday with her husband-actor Abhishek Bachchan, and their daughter Aaradhya. The actress shared lovely pictures on her social media handle from the celebrations.

Earlier this month, the Jodhaa Akbar actress had shared an old picture featuring her late father Krishnaraj Rai who passed away on March 18, 2017. It also had Vrinda Rai, Aaradhya, and herself. She captioned it as: “LOVE OF MY LIFE (sic).”
On the work front, Aishwarya has teamed up with Mani Ratnam once again for a historical drama, Ponniyin Selvan, which is an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s historical period-based fictional novel of the same name. The film also stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Tisha, Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shobhita Dhulipala, R Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj among many more.
Directed and co-produced by Mani Ratnam, under his production studio Madras Talkies, along with Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.
