RRR: Alia Bhatt Begins Shooting In Hyderabad, See Photo

Alia Bhatt has taken off to Hyderabad last evening to begin shooting for SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, ‘RRR.’ The ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ actress will be seen essaying the role of Sita in the Telugu-language period action drama film.

In the early hours of Tuesday, the ‘Student Of The Year’ actress shared a picture on her Instagram story from her dressing room. She captioned the picture: “Rise and shine.” In the photo, the actress is seen getting her hair and makeup done and is seen dressed in a white sweatshirt.

On Monday, Bhatt took to her Instagram story to share an image of herself, on the way to the airport. She was seen wearing a black tank top, camo jacket, and golden hoops. “And finally… Team RRR here I come!!,” she wrote. This film marks the Telugu debut of Alia.

‘Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR)’ is produced by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments. It stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris while Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody play supporting roles. It is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.

The film is now scheduled to release on 13 October 2021 in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
