EXCLUSIVE: Anangsha Biswas opens up about Mirzapur 2 release date, plot & more

Not only common people but also celebrities have been eagerly waiting to watch the second season of Mirzapur web series. Amazon Prime had confirmed on various occasions that Mirzapur season 2 will be out in 2020. However, the streaming platform has not revealed the exact release date of Mirzapur 2 as of yet.

We have had various characters in Mirzapur season 1 but only a few of them would be returning to Mirzapur season 2 and one of them is Anangsha Biswas. Yes, Anangsha Biswas — who played Zarina in the Mirzapur season 1 — will also be seen reprising her character in the season 2.

Biswas might have worked in various movies and web series but it is her role in Mirzapur, which helped her gain a huge fan base on social media.

There are various speculations regarding the release date of Mirzapur 2 doing rounds on social media. If anything to go by the latest buzz, Mirzapur 2 will be out on December 25, 2020. When we got in touch with Anangsha Biwas, she sure seemed to have quite a few things to talk about.

When we asked Mirzapur actress Anangsha Biswas, when will Mirzapur season 2 out?

Biswas said, “I am asked this question everyday believe me(lol)… It’s funny some fans even get angry and personnel about its delay in the release … I find it sweet. It shows how invested and connected they all are to Mirzapur. I really have no clue about the release though.”

As millions of people are desperately waiting to binge-watch Mirzapur season 2, when we asked Anangsha Biswas, does not she excited about the season 2? She said, “I’m extremely thrilled about Mirzapur 2, can’t wait to binge-watch it myself.”

When she was asked to reveal the plot of Mirzapur 2, without divulging any detail she said that the upcoming season is full of twist and turns.

Speaking about her role in the upcoming season, she said that Mirzapur season 2 has more of Zarina so it was more fun for her to shoot it.

Besides Mirzapur 2, Anangsha Biswas will also be seen in Hotstar’s much-awaited web series Hostages 2.
