After Arbaaz Khan, Sajid Khan might be Investigated in IPL Betting case

A dismal news for all Bollywood fans. Celebrities who have indulged in IPL betting are under the scanner. After Arbaaz Khan, Sajid Khan has made news for the wrong reasons. He might soon be called up for investigations by the police.

2013 saw the same picture of people getting caught one after the other in the IPL spot fixing and betting scam. This time its only with respect to betting. Arbaaz Khan was summoned by police a few days back where he agreed to have lost 2.83 crores while betting. He confessed of betting in IPL for several years.

All this begun after the arrest of Sonu Jalan, a very high end bookie who is said to have connections with Dawood Ibrahim. He informed police of Arbaaz Khan’s involvement in the betting scam. According to moneycontrol.com, Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz was the one who told police about Sajid Khan being involved along with 6 more celebs from Bollywood. Whereas reports from ANI suggest that Jalan informed police that Sajid Khan was involved in betting 7 years ago.

As per Zee news, Vindu Dara Singh’s name also came up during the interrogation. Vindu was involved during the 2013 IPL betting saga and was detained by police.
