‘Bulbbul’ teaser: Anushka Sharma unveils first look of her Netflix movie

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s production house Clean Slate Films is back with yet another Netflix movie titled ‘Bulbbul.’ On Wednesday, the actress shared the teaser of her upcoming Netflix Original film.

Sharing the teaser of ‘Bulbbul,’ on her social media, she captioned it, “Here’s your first look at #Bulbbul, a fantastic tale about self-discovery, and justice, wrapped in lore, mystery and intrigue, coming soon on @netflix_in. Can’t wait to share more!”

According to the official synopsis shared by Netflix, it states: “A child bride grows up to be an enigmatic woman presiding over her household, harboring a painful past as supernatural murders of men plague her village.”

‘Bulbbul’ features Tripti Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, Rahul Bose, Paoli Dam, and Parambrata Chattopadhyay in lead roles, directed by Anvita Dutt, produced by Clean Slate Films, It is set to release on Netflix on June 24.

This is Anushka Sharma‘s second web production after Amazon Prime Video series ‘Paatal Lok’, which released on May 15. On the work front, Anushka has been missing from the Bollywood industry, however, she was last seen in the 2018 film ‘Sui Dhaaga’ alongside Varun Dhawan and in ‘Zero’ with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead.
