Sushant Singh Rajput’s unnatural death has created a wave in the entire nation. Netizens debated about ‘movie mafia culture’, ‘nepotism’, and ‘murder theories’ on social media. The late actor’s fans and family members wanted a CBI inquiry on the death case. A day after Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar requested the Center for CBI inquiry (on the request of his father K.K Singh), the Centre has accepted the request. SSR’s ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande who stood strong with his family in tough times reacts to the CBI probe development.

The Center has finally agreed to transfer the case from Mumbai Police to the Central Probe Agency. The CBI, which falls under the Union Home Ministry, will now take over the probe and investigate SSR case. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta stated the Centre has accepted the request floated by the Nitish Kumar government recommending a CBI inquiry. Reacting to it Ankita Lokhande posted,  “The moment we’ve waited for has finally arrived”.

Earlier in her conversation with Arnab Goswami, Ankita stated that she never believed in reports stating that Sushat Singh Rajput could take his life due to depression.  She added that stands with his family and wants to know the cause of his demise.

For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14 in Mumbai.  His last rites were performed at Pawan Hans crematorium.
