Deepika Padukone Consults Her Legal Team After NCB Summons Her In Drug Cartel Case?

Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Shraddha Kapoor and few others have been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Wednesday i,e September 23. The ‘Chhapaak’ actress who jetted off to Goa to complete her shoot schedules to now come back to Mumbai after getting served with the summons, according to the reports. Apparently, the actress has already consulted with her legal team, alongside Ranveer Singh.

According to a report by Republic TV, Deepika Padukone has consulted her legal team via video conferencing, which was also attended by her husband, Ranveer Singh. The sources have informed the channel that, “Ranveer Singh was also on video conferencing along with Deepika’s lawyers. Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Shruti Modi, Karishma Prakash, and Simone Khambata, have also been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Wednesday in the ongoing Bollywood-drug probe. While Rakul and Simone have been summoned for September 24, Deepika (who is currently in Goa for a shoot) will join the probe on September 25.”

The report also states that the actress has pinned the blame on KWAN talent manager, Karishma Prakash and Jaya Saha. The actress is apparently not willing to take the onus on herself.
