On Thursday, American comedian and TV show host Ellen DeGeneres announced on social media that she has tested positive for COVID-19. . The 62-year-old talk show also shared an update about her health with her fans and assured that she has been feeling fine.
The comedian took to her social media handle and shared a statement that read as, “Hi everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for COVID-19, Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now, Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines. I’ll see you all again after the holidays, Please stay healthy and safe.”

A few months back, Ellen’s talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show was under the limelight for a toxic workplace environment, later, she issued an apology to her viewers following the allegations of misconduct on the set of her talk show, “I want to say I am so sorry to the people who were affected. I know that I’m in a position of privilege and power and I realized that with that comes responsibility, and I take responsibility for what happens at my show,” DeGeneres said in her opening monologue, released online.
