As per these reports, the two of them are seeing each other for over a year now and she apparently makes time from her busy schedule to meet him regularly. The two remained uncommented on these reports and their label, YG Entertainment has responded to it. Now according to the latest reports, the label has showcased a hush-hush behavior of these reports as revealed by the singer’s close friends.

The talent agencies in South Korea are known for imposing strict rules on their artists and when it comes to dating many agencies keep their girls and boys separate in order to safeguard them from dating rumors and other controversies. YG Entertainment has reacted to Jennie and GDragon’s dating reports stating that “We can not confirm anything about our artists’ personal lives. We ask for your understanding.” After the statements come in from the side of the label, two friends of Jennie and GDragon’s close friends share the possibility of YG Entertainment keeping hush-hush because they don’t bring two of their singers in headlines.

According to the latest report by Koreaboo, an exclusive report from SPOTV claims that the two of Jennie and GDragon’s friends reveal why they were not shy about hiding their relationship to their friends and their agency. Apparently one of the friends said, “G-Dragon and Jennie weren’t hiding their relationship. They introduced each other as their boyfriend or girlfriend, and they would meet up together with their friends. I think it was burdensome for the two to admit their relationship, considering their various personal situations.”

While the other one said, “It won’t be easy to acknowledge the relationship rumors since they are in the same agency and a junior-senior within the same industry. I don’t think they want to have the named modifier of ‘G-Dragon’s girlfriend’ or ‘Jennie’s boyfriend’, which may happen after confirming their relationship.”
