Delhi: Groom shot by two unidentified assailants

Few meters away from the wedding venue, a 25-year-old groom was shot by two unidentified assailants on Monday night. The incident took place in Delhi’s Madangir area when a groom was going to the wedding venue around 10 pm. The groom is identified as Badal.

During the celebratory dance, two bike-borne miscreants opened fire on Badal and fled the spot. In the incident, Badal sustained bullet injuries on his shoulder and has been shifted nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.
Police are investigating the matter.
