In addition, Gulabo Sitabo is also going to be the first Bollywood film to be streamed on an OTT platform. It will release on Amazon Prime Video due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Since everyone is in a lockdown these days, the cast and director of Gulabo Sitabo chose social media to announce the release of the trailer. Hence, Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and director Shoojit Sircar got together on a video call for the announcement. However, the trailer announcement took a comedic turn when the stars of the movie got into tiffs.

First, Shoojit could not reach Ayushmann as his phone was engaged. This let to some grumbling from Big B. However, once everyone did get on the video call, Ayushmann interrupted the announcement. This time it was to get a jacket. The actor apologized and stated that he had to do his own styling these days.

Finally, Amitabh Bachchan starts making the announcement in English. Much to his annoyance, he is interrupted by the Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan actor who asks him to speak in Hindi. However, once he starts to announce it in Hindi, Ayushmann states that it is too Kaun Banega Crorepati.

They finally announce the trailer after some back and forth. Fans can check out the trailer on May 22. It will be available on Amazon Prime Video as well as YouTube.
