Honsla Rakh: Shehnaaz Gill and Diljit Dosanjh wrap-up shoot in Canada

‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant Shehnaaz Gill Kaur and singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh will be starring together in a Punjabi film together, titled, ‘Honsla Rakh.’ The duo have been shooting in Vancouver, Canada, for the past few weeks. On Friday, the two took to their social media handles to announce the wrap-shoot of their film.

The ‘Good Newwz’ actor shared the pictures on his social media handle and captioned it as: “#HonslaRakh. Shooting Done 😎✊🏽” The photos also featured his co-star Shehnaaz and Sonam Bajwa, along with Gippy Grewal’s younger son Shinda Grewal.

Shehnaaz also shared a picture with Diljit and wrote, “#borntoshine✨✨✨✨✨ @diljitdosanjh #ShehnaazGill”

Diljit was seen sporting an all-black attire, as he wore kurta-pajama with a red turban, whereas Shehnaaz kept it chic and casual as she donned a plain white crop tee, paired it with blue jeans, and completed the look with a black jacket.

The film’s first look was shared on March 13 and had Diljit hugging Shehnaaz, in which she was seen as a pregnant woman and they were seen made in love as they gazed into each other’s eyes.

It marks Diljit and Shehnaaz’s first collaboration. ‘Honsla Rakh’ also sees Diljit working with Sonam for the third time, after the success of their ‘Sardaaji’ franchise. The film was announced by Diljit Dosanjh on 18 February 2021 and also marks his debut as a film producer and has been backed under his production banner Story Time Productions. The romantic-comedy film is directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and written by Rakesh Dhawan.

‘Honsla Rakh’ is scheduled to be released worldwide theatrically on 15 October 2021.
