ICC ODI rankings: Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah stay at the top of the pile

Indian captain Virat Kohli and premier fast Jasprit Bumrah retained their spots at the top of the ICC ODI rankings according to the latest updates, on Tuesday.

Kohli held on to his spot at the top of the list with 899 ratings with his deputy Rohit Sharma following him at the second place.  The third Indian in the top-10 in Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan, who is placed at the eighth place.
Former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni occupies the 20th position in the list.
Apart from the Indians. it was Ross Taylor who has now acquired a career-best third place in the ICC rankings. The veteran Kiwi batsman overtook the likes of Joe Root and Babar Azam to grab the spot after Kohli and Rohit.
Proteas skipper moved up to the seventh place with teammate Quinton De Kock and New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson dropping two places each. But both remain in the top 10 with Williamson at 9 and De Kock at 10.
Bumrah meanwhile held on to his place at the top of the list with 841 rating points while Indian chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav held on to his third spot in the list. His spin bowling partner in Yuzvendra Chahal has also gained three spots to be placed fifth in the rankings.
The all-rounder’s rankings is topped by Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan with 353 points. India, despite the 3-1 series win remain the second-placed side in the ODI rankings with 121 points after England, who have 126 points in their kitty.
