India records new highest single-day rise with 1,26,789 fresh Coronavirus cases
The pandemic Coronavirus outspread sees a sudden surge. The new highest single-day rise crosses 1.26 lakh count with fresh COVID-19 cases in India
Due to safety concerns, the state governments across India have revised the COVID-19 guidelines. Night curfews and weekend lockdowns have been imposed as the new pandemic wave becomes stronger. Over the last few weeks, the nation recorded a rapidly growing highest single-day rise. In the last 24 hrs, India recorded 1,26,789 fresh Coronavirus cases, which makes it the highest count ever since the pandemic began.
States which have contributed with the highest number of fresh COVID-19 cases in this new wave are Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and few others. Although India’s vaccination program has been working in full swing the new spread is getting stronger each day. Approximately 9,01,98,673 vaccine doses have been given to the people as per the data by Union Health Ministry.

For the unversed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has apparently called for a meeting with all state Chief Ministers today. He is expected to discuss the measures to control the pandemic-triggered crisis across the Nation. New guidelines and preventive measures are expected to be the outcome of this meeting.
