Irrfan Khan Tribute: Sachin Tendulkar To Virat Kohli, Sports Community Mourns Demise Of The Actor

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan passed away at the age of 54 at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The demise of the versatile actor left everyone in shock. Everyone from politicians to Bollywood celebrities has been paying tribute to the late actor. The sports community also mourned the death of Irrfan Khan as sportspersons and commentators took to social media to express their grief over the news.

Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar was amongst the many sportspersons who took to social media to mourn the untimely passing of Irrfan Khan. He tweeted, “He was one of my favorites & I’ve watched almost all his films, the last one being Angrezi Medium. Acting came so effortlessly to him, he was just terrific.”

Indian national team skipper Virat Kohli also expressed his grief over the news. He wrote, “Saddened to hear about the passing of Irrfan Khan. What a phenomenal talent and dearly touched everyone’s heart with his versatility.”

Fast bowler Mohammad Shami was also saddened by the passing of the ‘Angerezi Medium’ actor. He praised the actor and offered condolences to his family.  “An actor of great caliber! You will be cherished by us until eternity.”

Meanwhile, Indian batsman Suresh Raina was extremely saddened to hear about the actor’s demise. He said, “He was truly an actor with immense talent & high caliber. He will be missed badly.”
