Jacqueline Fernandez to star with Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Aankhen 2’?

Reports are doing round that beautiful actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been roped in for a power-packed role in Anees Bazmee’s Aankhen 2. The casting for the film is currently underway and so far megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been finalised for the thriller. It is to be noted that the Aankhen 2 is a sequel to the super hit heist drama Aankhen (2002), starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles.

DNA quoted a source as saying, “There are five primary roles in the film — four men and one woman. While Mr Bachchan leads the team, Paresh Rawal has been offered one of the roles. A-list actors have been approached for the remaining two male leads.”

The DNA’s source further said, “Anees is busy with the shoot of Pagalpanti in London but before leaving, he already spoke to Jacqueline Fernandez for the role. Jackie is keen on doing the film as she will be the only heroine in the project. Plus, it’s a power-packed role and they wanted a good-looking actress who was well versed with action, too. She’s verbally agreed to be a part of it. But the complete narration will happen once the filmmaker returns to Mumbai.”

In the meantime, DNA also contacted Anees and he said that the whole cast is finalised for the film. “Mr Bachchan has been signed officially. Once the formalities are done, the producers will announce the cast,” he added.

It is worth to mention here that if Jacqueline is finalised, then she will share screen space with the Big B after a decade. The two were last seen together in the former’s debut film Aladin.
